Step to Freedom

Step to Freedom: A Peace Corps Memoir of the Dominican Republic I believe in service. When I was 24 years old, I became a Peace Corps Volunteer, and for two years I served the people of the Dominican Republic, proudly representing the American tradition of generosity, hard work and common sense.

Read Step to Freedom, a memoir of my years in the Dominican Republic. You can purchase Step to Freedom here, and read the wonderful introduction that my eldest son wrote for the book. Anton became a Peace Corps Volunteer, too.

All proceeds from the sale of Step to Fredom will go to homeless shelters throughout the Second District.
